About Us
Trying to serve Krishna always
Over the past 50 years, the Hare Krishna movement has blossomed in the Cleveland area. Referring to this growing group of members most recently as ISKCON of Greater Cleveland (IGC), the group has focused on efforts towards spiritual development that ultimately satisfies the soul.

With great cooperation for this purpose, IGC has hosted and participated in festivals, community events, and parades. Most notably, IGC has a history of feeding delicious, vegetarian/vegan and karma free food to the public at large in a variety of capacities.
Our philosophy is our foundation, as presented to us through the timeless wisdom of the Vedas, creating a harmonious mood within our community. We are focused on a personal relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, as well as one another, as His devotees.
Our current active community boasts of having artists, architects, engineers, trades people, musicians, authors, poets, students, educators, philosophers, and more. Persons of all ages, races and backgrounds come together for one singular purpose - devotional service, or Bhakti yoga.
Because love begins at home, our focus remains here, in Northeast Ohio, where we continue to encourage everyone to join us in learning more about our way of life.
